Statement of Purpose
NIGERIA no doubt is a blessed country both in human and material resources. A country that is as well challenged by a combination of ethno-religious inclination, political, economic and leadership question, leading to restiveness in our polity. The aforementioned no doubt cannot be exonerated from the snail speed of her development.
We have as well observed that our Skewed Political, Ethnic and Religious considerations are the tripod on which Nigeria’s poor developmental stride is sitting. Consequently, we envisioned a panacea to the quagmire with the formation of a Non Governmental Advocacy group ‘ASPIRE GREATNESS INITIATIVE’.
While ASPIRE GREATNESS INITIATIVE recognizes our differences, it however hastens to seek Nigerians that will Reason and Act beyond Political, Ethnic and Religious opinion to fast track our development. We want to celebrate diversity and highlight commonalities among different groups.
Necessity therefore behoves on us all…Adults and Youths alike stepping out and be counted to embrace ASPIRE GREATNESS INITIATIVE in order to unanimously nurture a generation of Nigerians (leaders/followers) that will raise the bar beyond the factored impediments and move Nigeria Forward (Politically, Economically, Socially)
No doubt, policies and instruments from both private and public institutions addressing various issues of concern abound, yet we cannot but recognize the fact that we have not yet arrived. Therefore ASPIRE GREATNESS INITIATIVE has entered the Solution Arena as a Non Governmental Organization to as well utilize its platform to engage Nigerians as to the way forward for Greatness. For real Peace, Unity and Justice are the bedrock for a Nation’s developmental Aspiration.
In this wise, we shall be conducting seminars and workshops, having engagement with ethnic nationalities , religious groups, traditional institutions, academia, governments, civil society organizations, trade unions, youths, students, parents, etc for an ALL ENCOMPASSING approach to issues of National Concern.
ASPIRE GREATNESS INITIATIVE in addition, will search out and recognize personalities and organizations that have taken steps to move the nation forward from their different perspectives.
Summarily, Nigerians must ASPIRE TO BE GREAT again in every facet of life: Sports, Economic and Social Development, Medicine, Art, Music and the like. God in His infinite mercies we hasten to say, did not make mistake in locating Nigeria and its people in this part of the planet earth. Let us respect and acknowledge the Great God that can approve our ASPIRATION for GREATNESS
